Arakawa Forest Technology Vietnam (ARFV) Holds Grand Opening Ceremony in Lam Dong Province

On April 21, 2026, Arakawa Forest Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ARFV) officially held its Grand Opening Ceremony in Lam Dong Province, Vietnam. The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, research institutions, business partners, and companies within the Arakawa Group.

As a member of the Arakawa Group in Vietnam, Arakawa Chemical Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ACVT) also attended the ceremony to celebrate ARFV’s official commencement of operations.

To commemorate the occasion, ACVT presented a handmade gift inspired by the company’s original mascots, Matsutarou and Rosina. The gift conveyed our congratulations on ARFV’s new beginning and symbolized our hope for even stronger cooperation between the two companies in the years ahead.

The establishment of ARFV represents an important milestone in the Arakawa Group’s efforts to build a sustainable raw material supply chain in Vietnam.

Group Company Introduction – Arakawa Forest Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Arakawa Forest Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ARFV) is a joint venture established with a 90% investment by Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd. and a 10% investment by Meiwa Corporation, Japan. Founded on April 1, 2026, the company aims to establish a sustainable supply chain for natural pine resin while ensuring a stable supply of raw materials for the chemical industry.

Guided by the Arakawa Group’s sustainability strategy, ARFV is being developed as a Sustainability Center, focusing on raw material management and the research and development of environmentally friendly pine resin tapping technologies. The company also collaborates with local authorities, forest management organizations, research institutions, and regional partners to promote sustainable forest management and improve raw material traceability.

In addition, ARFV is working to establish a stable procurement system for natural pine resin and supply rosin-related products such as gum rosin and turpentine oil. Through its business activities, the company also aims to contribute to local communities by creating employment opportunities and supporting human resource development.
